The best way to insure your gasoline powered tools work the following season is to make sure there is no gas left in the carburetor, which means no gas should be left in the tank. This siphon is the easiest way to get the left over gas out the the gas tank. Just be sure to run the tool afterwards so that no fuel is left in the carburetor.

It wasn’t expensive, so I don’t expect it to last forever. Liked that the hose was one piece so I cut cut it to the length that I needed on both sides of the squeeze bulb.

It has quality components and does the job BUT it won’t run without constant pumping unless the source you’re pumping from is well elevated from the recovery source. In my case I just drained gas tank of snowblower (forgot to treat gas after last winter) so not enough elevation from tank to recovery so just had to keep pumping rubber bulb until drained

Since it’s a manual pump it can be a little difficult to operate at times and the suction power may seems difficult, but otherwise it works just fine. I was able to transfer fuel from my lawn mower back to the storage container.

I boight this to siphon oil out of a 275 gal tank, there was about 50 gals in there. This worked perfectly! I used a remnent from an old garden hose and it fit perfectly. The finger tightening clamps made it easy. I siphone 50 gals in about 40 minutes (pouring it into another tank in 5 gal increments.

You can use is as a pump up a short distance if you wish but it you really want a good flow have your supply higher than your destination and after a pump or two on the bulb you will get a fast effortless flow.
